Wine and Clay - Pottery Workshops

Join us for Wine & Clay workshops at Nuna Ceramics Studio

This is a perfect way to spend an evening in a creative environment, in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere – with a glass of white wine in hand and clay between your fingers

During the class, you will create up to two ceramic pieces, working at your own pace and enjoying the creative process.

During the workshop, you can make, among other things: a mug, a bowl, a dish, or a plate. Of course, you can also come with your own idea. Please only remember that each piece should be made with approximately 300g of clay, which provides better control over the form and makes the work easier. If you want to create a larger piece, you have that option for an additional fee due to material consumption and oven space.

After the class, the pieces will be fired in a kiln at 900°C (known as bisque firing).

After the first firing, you can: arrange for additional glazing workshops, during which the vessels will be "painted." After the second firing, the vessels will be food-safe.

If you don't feel like attending additional classes, the instructor can glaze your pieces for an additional fee - 60 PLN per item

Organizational matters:

- Workshop duration: 2 hours of creative work + approx. 15 minutes to tidy up your station.

- As a treat — during the workshops, you will be offered white wine, which will perfectly complement the creative atmosphere and make the time with clay even more enjoyable.

- After the pottery workshop, you can arrange for glazing workshops after 2 weeks.

- Due to limited space in the studio, pieces will be kept for one month and then disposed of.

- Also available on-site: water, tea, coffee, and something sweet

- Maximum number of participants: 8 people.

- Workshops take place when a minimum of 2 people sign up.

- Workshops can be conducted in Polish and English.

Creating two pieces depends on the pace of work and individual skills of the participant. We do not guarantee that every person will be able to complete two forms within the allotted time.
